BoardCard

  • Stable
  • WCAG 2.2 evidence
  • RTL

A Kanban card: avatar, name, role, drag handle and a detail line. A React Aria GridListItem, so it must be rendered in a BoardColumn (or your own GridList with useDragAndDrop). Dragging (data-dragging) shows the brand border and the large shadow from Figma; the handle shows its Grabbed state. Inside a Board, the card also has a Move menu (Move up, Move down, Move to column): the single-pointer alternative to dragging (WCAG 2.5.7). Keyboard: arrow keys move between cards and into the menu and the handle; Enter on the handle starts a keyboard drag that can cross columns with Tab (WCAG 2.1.1). The row is named by name and described by subtitle (WCAG 4.1.2, 1.3.1). Consumer duty: names that identify each card; translated strings on the Board.

Kanban board

A small hiring board. Drag cards between columns, or use the keyboard (arrow to the handle, Enter, Tab to another column, arrows, Enter), or each card's Move menu (Move up, Move down, Move to column): the single-pointer alternative to dragging (WCAG 2.5.7). Empty columns show the Figma Placeholder.

Long content and avatar

Long names, roles and details wrap; avatar takes a picture (here an SVG) instead of the initials.
